Job Responsibilities
The Technology Career Coach/Recruiter will develop marketing strategies and actively recruit for computer, engineering and business technologies. This position will work with the SCC Marketing and Outreach departments to coordinate efforts.
Manage recruitment and awareness activities for technology programs such as visiting industry and community groups, speaking to community groups, scheduling Lunch and Learn events, coordinating summer camps and coordinating Technology Club events.
Maintain website and social media platforms for those programs.
Assist with data management and reporting activities for the NSF data analytics grant.
Prepare and conduct presentations for prospective students.
Provide enrollment assistance to prospective students to include career field and program exploration, application process, collecting required documents and serve as a liaison between students and various departments at SCC.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
High school diploma and relevant program experience. Bachelor's degree may be substituted for required program experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree or bachelor's degree and at least one year of marketing and higher education recruiting experience.
