JOB TITLE: Administrative Assistant to the Dean of Students DEPARTMENT: Online Division
REPORTS TO: Dean of Students/Dean of Faculty
Knowledge:
Clerical - Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
Customer and Personal Service - Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Active Listening - Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.

Track daily attendance report
Process all status changes for online division (ex. drops, LOA, AI, FAW)
Assist students with questions/concerns
Run daily/weekly phone report
Run monthly grade and satisfactory academic progress reports
Run monthly Advising Report and sweep through SchoolDocs for latest Advising document
Prepare monthly Faculty Contracts
Fill in for Academic Advisor in his/her absence
Assist with special projects as assigned
