We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to support our department with various tasks and assignments. The ideal candidate will assist in ordering supplies, managing data, creating reports and presentations, and ensuring the smooth operation of departmental events and meetings.
Responsibilities
This role is office-based, Monday through Friday, in south Olathe.

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant to support our department with various tasks and assignments. The ideal candidate will assist in ordering supplies, managing data, creating reports and presentations, and ensuring the smooth operation of departmental events and meetings.
Responsibilities
- Assist with ordering supplies for the department.
- Be open to additional opportunities, tasks, and assignments from the General Manager to maximize team effectiveness.
- Review and modify price updates in Epicor & Link.
- Provide and track performance KPIs and review them with the General Manager.
- Work on backorder reports with the Material Group Specialist to identify alternate suppliers for purchase orders.
- Perform basic filing, maintain and enter data into company systems as needed.
- Assist in the creation of reports and presentations for departmental meetings and monthly reports.
- Assist in the execution of departmental events, training sessions, and meetings, including communication, scheduling, and catering.
- Assist with the creation, revisions, and maintenance of work instructions, reports, and spreadsheets.

- Must possess a minimum of one year of work experience performing substantially similar functions.
- Demonstrates intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrates proficiency navigating and assisting others with navigating web-based software systems.
- Demonstrates effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrates effective organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
- Demonstrates the ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Must be team-oriented, possess a positive attitude, and collaborate effectively with others to achieve goals in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrates intermediate proficiency using Google Mail, Sheets, Docs, and Calendar.
This role is office-based, Monday through Friday, in south Olathe.
