We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting and Administrative Specialist for a temp-to-perm part-time position. The ideal candidate will bring solid experience with QuickBooks Online and a set of administrative skills to support our financial and office operations. This role offers flexibility, with approximately 30 hours per week and the ability to set a schedule within Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. As an integral part of our team, this position will handle essential accounting functions, such as A/P, A/R, and bank reconciliations, while also providing general administrative support. The role is ideal for someone who values accuracy, efficiency, and the opportunity to contribute to a positive office environment in a role that may lead to permanent employment.

salary: $19 - $20 per hour

Responsibilities

Accounting Duties:

  • Process Accounts Payable (A/P) transactions, ensuring timely and accurate payments
  • Manage Accounts Receivable (A/R) functions, including invoicing, payment collections, and record maintenance
  • Conduct bank reconciliations to maintain accurate account balances and financial records
  • Track and record expenses, ensuring proper documentation and classification
Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for accounting and administrative records
  • Prepare and handle routine correspondence, emails, and other clerical tasks
  • Provide support for scheduling and coordinating meetings as needed
  • Assist with data entry, reporting, and other administrative projects to support the accounting team
