Job Overview
The selected Consultants will work closely with the designated I.T. supervisor, project managers, and other developers in an agile development environment. The work scope of the consultant will include requirements gathering, application design, application development, testing, deployment, and technical support.
The Consultants, in working with ODPS staff, will be responsible for new application development and supporting legacy applications utilizing .NET, C#, Java, ASP.NET Core MVC, Web API, SQL Server, and other technologies. The consultants will be required to port Java code samples and libraries to C#.
This is a canned statement with hours, background check, and interview date/time. During the interview process with the ODPS staff, the resource consultant must demonstrate competence/experience in their specific area(s) of project assignment. The resource's experience must also be documented for review and verification. Offered resources not showing technical or functional competence/experience will be sufficient reason to reject the Offeror's proposal. It is the responsibility of the Offeror to pre-screen their candidates to ensure compliance. Resource will have a background check conducted by ODPS.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•Maintains message system to include tracking staff, answering, screening, and routing in-coming calls, if necessary, taking messages. Receives and greets visitors and guests.
•Performs administrative duties to include composing, typing, and editing a variety of correspondence; special projects, reports spreadsheets, etc. as required.
•Processes and monitors the timely processing of invoices and other departmental expenditures.
•Keeps track of office supplies for departmental personnel for budget purposes.
•Support of travel arrangements for Board Members and staff for budget purposes.
•Maintains message system to include tracking staff, answering, screening, and routing in-coming calls, if necessary, taking messages.
•Maintains applicable filing systems for section.
•Responds to routine, non-technical inquiries.
•Handle data entry, documentation, and other administrative duties.
•Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
•Associate's degree in business administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
•Five (5) years of high level administrative or legal experience.
•Type at a speed necessary for successful job performance. Proficiency using PC and software applications to include Windows, graphic computer software, budget management software or computer base programs, word processing spreadsheet, and database.
•High level of analytical skills to find solutions to professional, technical, and administrative problems; high level of competence in computer application.
•Interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of supervisory and non-supervisory employees effectively and sensitively, outside counsel, governmental entities, the community, Board of Directors, and others both inside and outside of DART.
•Ability to be mobile and occasionally, lift objects weighing 5 - 10 pounds such as books, computer binders, or ledgers.
•Mental ability to read complex materials and concentrate on details.
Note: An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted for the below stated minimums excluding High School Diploma, GED, Licenses, or Certifications.
