How you'll make an impact:

Reporting Analyst

This position will be responsible to performing data conversions, interpreting, and coding complex contract terms, writing, and running standard and ad-hoc reports, and analyzing the results. This individual will need to have experience working with Microsoft SQL Server 2019 creating complex stored procedures, views, and user defined function. Must have the ability to work with large datasets to identify trends and work with the audit team to determine true claim payment errors. The most qualified candidate will have a strong SQL background, experience working with SSRS or like reporting platform, strong organizational skills, and a proven history of being a valuable part of a successful team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Normalization of large data sets into an existing data warehouse
  • Analyze and manipulate data within the data warehouse based on predefined guidelines
  • Identify trends in large datasets
  • Read and interpret complex contract terms into specific tests and create custom code to perform those tests
  • Generate standard system report
  • Create custom ad-hoc reports based on internal and external requests
  • Respond to changing requirements, as well as technical issues
  • Customize system features and functions to meet specific client requirements
  • Follow all corporate policies related to data protection and HIPAA
  • Project managing timelines and projects
  • Keeping track of project forecasts


About you:

Desired Background and Experience

  • Education
    • Bachelors degree in related field (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, etc.)
  • Required Skills
    • 3+ years or Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008 experience including stored procedures, views, SQL jobs and database design
    • 1+ years of Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, Crystal Reports, or like reporting platform
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, InfoPath, Visio)
    • Strong verbal and written (English language) communication skills

Additional Skills Desired

  • ETL Development (SSIS)
  • Microsoft Project experience
  • Previous experience in healthcare a plus

This position reports to the Director of Audit Reporting
