Position Summary
This position performs specialized duties in collecting, analyzing, and reporting program data and processes as mandated by the New Mexico Higher Education Department (NMHED) House Bill 2 (HB2) Implementation Plan and performance data for all workforce and continuing education programs.
MAJOR DUTIES
The Director of Continuing Education assigns work according to general instructions. The supervisor spot-checks completed work for compliance with procedures, accuracy, and the nature and propriety of the final results.
GUIDELINES
Guidelines include New Mexico Higher Education Department guidelines, National Reporting System guidelines, Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act standards, and college and program policies and procedures. These guidelines require judgment, selection, and interpretation in application.

Position Summary

MAJOR DUTIES
- Collects and compiles data from students participating in the House Bill 2 (HB2) Implementation Plan.
- Evaluate datasets for consistency, completeness, accuracy, and reasonableness.
- Examines data regularly and ensures data integrity.
- Submits monthly data reports to the Project Coordinator and Director of Continuing Education.
- Identify and assess students who have completed the program and those who obtained internships, apprenticeships, and jobs related to it.
- Develops process improvements for data management activities
- Compiles information and reports to the New Mexico Higher Education Department (NMHED) for the mid-year and final report.
- Develop spreadsheets, database queries, and custom data reports; extract data as requested by staff and instructors.
- Maintains confidential records and files.
- Provides guidance to staff on state policies and procedures related to data collection, standards, and quality.
- Researches and gathers data; prepares reports, spreadsheets, and charts.
- Creates and documents processes, procedures, and policies in compliance with the NMHED.
- Performs related duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge and level of competency commonly associated with the completion of a baccalaureate degree in a course of study related to the occupational field.
- Sufficient experience in understanding the basic principles relevant to the position's primary duties, usually associated with completing an apprenticeship/ internship or having had a similar position for one to two years.
