Our industry-leading client is looking for a Business Analyst focused on Data and Analytics to join their team!

Location: This role is remote, but candidates need to be local to the Atlanta area.

Here is what you will be doing:

• This role will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between the business and data engineering teams, ensuring that the organization's data needs are met and utilized effectively.
• Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications for data engineering and analytics solutions.
• Develop comprehensive data requirements specifications, including use cases, process flows, and data models.
• Develop comprehensive business requirements specifications, including use cases, process flows, and data models.
• Lead the implementation of data management and analytics solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.
• Identify and analyze business pain points, process inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

Here is what our ideal candidate has:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Strong experience and exposure to data management platforms, such as data lakes and data warehouses. Experience in data integration, transformation, and visualization techniques.
• Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements for data-related projects.
• Proven experience in creating process flows to determine technical solutions
• Experience in working with data engineering and analytics tools, such as PowerBI and Python.
• Knowledge of MDM (Master Data Management) solutions is a plus. Experience in data science and machine learning techniques is also a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Self-starter, quick learner
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
