IT Security Analyst - 100% ONSITE in Columbia, SC
SYSTEMTEC is seeking an IT Security Analyst with at least 5 years of hands-on experience and an active Security+ certification for a local Columbia, SC based role. This position requires fully onsite work in the Columbia, SC area.

SYSTEMTEC is seeking an IT Security Analyst with at least 5 years of hands-on experience and an active Security+ certification for a local Columbia, SC based role. This position requires fully onsite work in the Columbia, SC area.
Required Qualifications of the IT Security Analyst:
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
- Must be comfortable with 100% ONSITE work in Columbia, SC.
- Ability to pass extensive FBI background check.
- At least five (5) years of experience in hands-on IT Security
- Experience working with firewalls, SIEM tools, IPS/IDS, TCP/IP, anti-virus, end point protection, DLP, Web Proxy, VPN, public key infrastructure, email filtering, and/or encryption solutions
- Extensive IAM/Active Directory experience.
Responsibilities of the IT Security Analyst:
- Monitor and analyze alerts using, network devices, and information systems.
- Monitor enterprise network for security-related issues.
- Administers Identity Access Management program and coordinates access control with business units.
- Perform vulnerability scans of networks and applications to assess security vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
- Review, modify, and deliver cybersecurity awareness training to employees.
- Oversee physical security controls including, but not limited to, security badges and camera systems.
