Axient is actively recruiting an experienced Physical Security Specialist to join our team supporting at Eglin AFB, FL.

What you will do...:

Provide critical advice and assistance in Security Management, focusing on the implementation of DoD, USAF, DIA, and MAJCOM policies and directives for the construction, protection, and operation of advanced program facilities, including Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in physical security and facility accreditation.

Will advise and assist the Special Programs Security Manager in the following:

• Advise and assist with the implementing DoD, USAF, DIA, and MAJCOM policies and directives for SCIF and SAPF construction, protection and operation.
• Prepare accreditation packages, including fixed facility checklists, alarm diagrams, inspectable space determinations, and other essential physical requirements for approval.
• Conduct initial and annual physical security inspections of SAP facilities, ensuring compliance with all relevant security standards.
• Prepare and update all emergency action plans for SCIFs and SAPFs.
• Work closely with architects and engineers, and construction teams to integrate security requirements into the design and construction process
• Ensure all construction and maintenance activities comply with ICD 705, DoD directives, and other applicable regulations.

Skills you will need...:

• Must have active or current DoD security clearance at the TS level with SCI eligibility
• Willing to complete a Pre-Screening Questionnaire (PSQ)
• Bachelor's degree with no experience or an Associate's degree combined with four (4) years of experience.
• Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) and Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) shall be completed within 2 years of employment.
