Security Officer – Rogue Valley Mall

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $16.62 per hour

Education:

• High school or GED (Required)

Experience:

• Customer service: At minimum 1-year Management experience required.
• Prior MIL/LEO experience a plus, but not necessary.

License/Certification:

• Guard Card (Required)
• CPR/First Aid (Must obtain within 90 days of employment)

Work Location: Rogue Valley Mall

Job Description:

· Primary role is physical and preventative Security at the Rogue Valley Mall & the surrounding property. We strive to provide a safe & positive experience for our tenants & guests.

· Other duties include but are not limited to: Theft prevention, point of entry/exit control, contractor assistance, unparalleled customer service, roving patrols (on foot & in a vehicle), & accurate report writing.

· Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time.

· Must be able to effectively communicate with those who are in an altered or aggravated state of mind.

Requirements:

· Must possess a valid DPSST Unarmed Professional License.

· Must have CPR Certification or be willing to complete training within 90 days of employment.

· Must pass prescreening background check

· Must pass pre-employment drug screening.

Provided Training & Certification:

· Blood borne Pathogens training

· DPSST Unarmed Professional Certification (To include the refresher course if needed.)
