Job Summary
The Supervisor will act as lead over several Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) components: SCIF Service, Registry, Workforce Support Center, Visitor Control Center, Conference Center, and Escort Service. Will serve as the POC regarding SCI classified shipments through the DOD courier system; provide guidance and assistance to all organizations regarding shipment of classified material in accordance with the guidance provided by the National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA) Site Security office.
Primary Duties

Responsible for managing, supervising personnel, and accurately meeting contract performance requirements for contracted security functions, for example, Workforce Support Center, Visitor Control, Conference Center, Registry, Security Escorts, and Sensitive Compartment Information Facility Representative.
Manages one or more of the following: production of Common Access Cards, Receiving/shipping Classified Materials, and Coordinates escort assignments.
Plan and assign work to be accomplished by subordinates based on difficulty of assignments and capabilities of employees; set and adjust short-term priorities; prepare schedules for completion of work; reconcile assigned work to actual performance; monitor and submit reports on performance.
Establish a daily, weekly, and monthly battle rhythm for their operations and ensure goals, deadlines and performance standards are met.
Assess work performance; create metrics; perform quality control inspections; develop performance standards; follow administrative guidelines; and find ways to improve production, efficiency, or increase the quality of the work directed.
Additional Responsibilities

Security subject matter expert; communicates in person, in writing and verbally with other managers and supervisors, contracting officer representatives, other government customers,recommends and implements solutions.
Evaluates work performance of subordinates; trains; and gives advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both work and administrative matters.
Interviews candidates for positions in the unit; recommends appointment, promotion, orreassignments.
Ensures compliance with SSI guidelines and directives. Identifies employee developmental and training needs; provides or arranges for needed development and training.
Develops safety and job skills training materials and trains personnel. Ensures and enforce compliance with all SSI and Government security, quality control, safety/PPE, training requirements; and COVID-19 mitigation efforts
Provides workers proper equipment and resources to ensure operations run smoothly and safely.
Hears and resolves complaints from employees, referring group grievances and more seriousunresolved complaints to a higher-level supervisor or manager; effects minor disciplinary measures,such as warnings and reprimands; recommends other action in more serious cases.
Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)

High school diploma or state certified equivalent required.
Five years of security operations experience required.
One year of supervisory experience required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI government security clearance with polygraph is required.

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to walk and sit. The employee may occasionally lift or move products and supplies, up to 50 pounds.
