Phlebotomist Job at Centurion Health in Miami

Overview:

Centurion is proud to be the provider ofcomprehensive healthcare services to the Florida Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a full-time Phlebotomist to join our team at South Florida Reception Center - South Unit located in Doral, Florida.

Responsibilities:

The Phlebotomist is responsible for drawing blood, checking vital signs, finger stick blood sugars, and assisting with activities of daily living for patients in a correctional healthcare environment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be certified as a Phlebotomist with verifiable formal training and on-the-job experience as a Phlebotomist
• Must have Certified Nursing Assistant certification/license
• Current CPR
• Corrections experience preferred, not required
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available Shift:

Monday - Friday, 6:30am to 3pm or 5:30am-2pm
