Centurion Health is hiring: Phlebotomist in Westover

Overview:

Centurion is proud to be the provider ofmental health services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.

We are currently seeking a part-time Phlebotomist to join our team at Eastern Correctional Institution located in Westover, Maryland.

Responsibilities:

The Phlebotomist is responsible for drawing blood, checking vital signs, finger stick blood sugars, and assisting with activities of daily living for patients in a correctional healthcare environment.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be certified as a Phlebotomist with verifiable formal training and on-the-job experience as a Phlebotomist
• Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant certification/license preferred, not required
• Current CPR
• Corrections experience preferred, not required
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available Shift:

8 hour shifts on Wednesday and Thursday; 7:30am to 4:00pm
