General Summary: The role of the Executive Administrative Assistant at Dollar Tree & Family Dollar Store Operations is responsible for administrative support for both the Family Dollar and Dollar Tree Store Operation Executives. This position provides high-level, confidential administrative support including duties such as clerical, administrative and project-based work, scheduling travel, arranging meetings, handling information requests, preparing reports and correspondence and liaising with other senior executives. This position may be privy to confidential information and as such, requires diplomacy and discretion. Strong communication skills are required and must be demonstrated at all times. Principal Duties & Responsibilities: Support the Store Operation Executives of Family Dollar and Dollar Tree Store Operations in financial oversight activities including budgeting/forecasting, expense report processing, invoice review/processing and travel reimbursements. Managing and organizing complex activities such as meetings, travel, conferences, meals and project activities. Arrange travel and logistics including booking flights, car rental and hotel accommodations. Creates and assist in preparation of presentations for meetings. Anticipating the administrative needs of the Executives of Family Dollar and Dollar Tree Store Operations. Assisting in smooth implementation/transition of departmental processes and procedures. Facilitates communication for teams reporting through Executives of Family Dollar and Dollar Tree Store Operations; assist in preparation of internal and external memos and correspondence. Maintains office supply inventory; anticipating supply needs and managing supply order/procurement process. Creates and maintains departmental files and electronic records. Coordinates department functions including Team meetings, Town Hall meetings and ad hoc Team activities. Provides agendas and other essential materials and coordinates departmental functions. Other duties as assigned. Position Requirements: Office work environment, 40+ work hours per week Minimum Requirements: Education: High school or GED required and Associate's Degree preferred Experience: 5-7+ years of executive support experience, preferably in a corporate retail environment. Experience supporting executive and senior level management. Job Related Skills: Proven track record in priority setting and managing multiple tasks and strong written and communication skills with excellent organizational skills. Applicant must have high attention to detail, strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Computer Skills: Proficient MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint skills
