About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission of providing shelter, respect, and collaborative solutions to unhoused individuals and families. The Executive Director will be responsible for developing and updating the organization's strategic plan, securing financial resources, and expanding revenue streams to meet the growing demands of the unhoused community. A hands-on, inclusive leadership style is essential, as is the ability to foster a positive, team-oriented culture and engage in transparent communication with all stakeholders. The successful candidate will be a mission-aligned leader with a minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior philanthropic leadership role, preferably within human services, housing, or social services. This role requires a strategic and resilient individual with a proven track record in nonprofit management, including fundraising, community outreach, and working with Boards of Directors. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, strategic, and mission-focused leader, capable of cultivating relationships, inspiring staff, and advocating passionately for the organization's mission. They should be adept at managing crises, and conflicts, and be adaptable to a rapidly changing environment. Personal attributes of the Executive Director should include being empathetic, authentic, optimistic, and hopeful, with a long-term commitment to the role. Experience in facility management, and a background in programs addressing homelessness, mental health, or poverty-focused initiatives, is highly valued. The role is pivotal in ensuring the organization's financial health and programmatic effectiveness, and the Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors to achieve these goals.
