We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Executive Director to lead our Assisted Living Facility, where residents enjoy a warm, compassionate, and safe community. This role is vital to ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of both residents and staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving the operational success of our facility.
Position Summary:
The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and operation of the facility, ensuring that our mission to provide exceptional care is met. This individual will oversee all aspects of the facility's operations, including resident care, staffing, budgeting, compliance, and community outreach.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership in the operation of the memory care facility, aligning with the organization's goals and mission.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for resident care and facility management.
Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
Manage the budget and ensure the financial health of the facility.
Lead and mentor a team of healthcare and administrative staff, fostering a culture of excellence and compassion.
Engage with residents' families, providing support and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Build relationships within the community and promote the facility to potential residents, partners, and stakeholders.
Oversee admissions and ensure the facility is operating at full or near-full capacity.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with regulatory bodies, ensuring all inspections and reviews meet high standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in senior living, assisted living, or memory care.
Strong knowledge of regulations and compliance in memory care or assisted living facilities.
Proven financial management and budgeting experience.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient-centered approach with a commitment to quality care.
Ability to work effectively with residents, families, staff, and external partners.
