Cybersecurity Analyst at Battelle Energy Alliance dba Idaho National Labora in Idaho Falls, Idaho, United States Job Description Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Cybersecurity Analyst to work in our Classified Cybersecurity department. Our team works a 980 schedule located out of our REC facility with every other Friday off. You will report to the manager for Classified Cybersecurity department. As a member of the Classified Cybersecurity organization, the Classified Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating execution of information security compliance functions and reporting for INL National Security Systems (NSS). Responsibilities Include: Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities: (Knowledge, skills, and behaviors required for this position.) Classified program scheduling and reporting of: o Performance metrics o Program highlights (weekly, monthly, annually) o Internal and external data calls for NSS o Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) compliance reports (privileged users, POC, NSS portfolio, NSS diagrams) o Internal and external audit/assessment preparation, coordination and closure Provide quality assurance to ISSM/ISSO/VA roles by reviewing and validating: o NSS user list accuracy (terminated employees are removed, training requirement artifacts are entered) o Change Request record accuracy (entries and artifacts) o Exception Request record accuracy (applicability reviews being performed, artifacts are entered) o Lock and Seal Program record accuracy (audit completion, artifacts are entered) o NSS software license contract accuracy and scheduling Authority To Operate (ATO) documentation package deliverables Classified program document and records management Xacta application administrator (System Security Plan (SSP) management software) Classified Video Teleconference (VTC) scheduling and facilitation Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for NIST 800-53 controls, CNSSI 1253 requirements, and NNSA Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) policies PKI credential issuance assessor Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Critical thinking Organization and scheduling Attention-to-Detail Office 365 Excellent interpersonal skills; written and verbal communication, effective listening Minimum Requirements: Level 2: Bachelor of Science in related field plus 2 years' relevant experience, or 1 or more relevant certifications and 8 years of experience, or 10 years of relevant experience. Level 3: Bachelor of Science in related field plus 5 years' relevant experience, or 1 or more relevant certifications and 11 years of experience, or 14 years of relevant experience Relevant degrees consist of: Business Management, Project Management, Information Systems, Cybersecurity Current DOE L or Q (or equivalent DOD/DOJ) security clearance (must be able to obtain and maintain a Q clearance) Ideal Candidate will have: Experience in classified environments Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and policies Project or cybersecurity related certifications including PMO, CISSP, CISM, Security Job Information: The pay range for this position is: Level 2 ($63,528 - $130,284) / Level 3 ($75,804 - $155,496). At Idaho National Laboratory compensation decisions are determined using factors such as education, relevant experience, and other credentials.
