Job Overview Job Description:The Chief Security Office is seeking a dynamic leader to join our team. In the role of a Business Information Security Officer (BISO), you will serve as the liaison between the business and the Chief Security Office by connecting the business value to security initiatives to mitigate risks. This is no ordinary role, as you will act as a Cybersecurity Champion establishing a security mindset across our company.Our team establishes policy and requirements, as well as develops comprehensive programs, to ensure security is incorporated into every facet of AT&T's computing and networking environments. This position allows you to take the lead as part of our world class Chief Security Organization. You'll work at the forefront of cybersecurity and gain exposure to the many facets of a career with us. Most importantly, you'll play a vital role in helping AT&T to maintain the security of millions of customers around the world.Key Roles and Responsibilities:Embed yourself as the Cyber Subject Matter Expert withing your assigned Business Unit to promote awareness, identify gaps, and accelerate security outcomes.Collaborate with the Chief Security Office and assigned Business Units to ensure that information security initiatives are aligned with the organization's strategic goals and objectivesConsult with respective Business Units on the implementation of security models and solutions to limit enterprise exposure to security riskst.Serve as a Cybersecurity Champion, promoting awareness and shared responsibility throughout the organization.Translate security policies and procedures for BUs to align with industry best practices and regulatory requirementsPromote a security-aware culture within the organization through regular security awareness training, communication of security policies, and reinforcement of security best practicesReduce cyber risk by working with internal and external partners on all aspects of information security.Conduct risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential vulnerabilities of the organization's information assets; Propose risk mitigation strategies to address identified risksCoordinate incident response plans with the proper channels to ensure Business Unit preparedness.Monitor the effectiveness of the organization's information security program, using KPIs, CCRC, and metrics.Remain up-to-date on emerging security threats, technologies, and industry trends, and adapting the organization's security strategy accordingly.Lead the development and implementation of processes to operate the Center of Excellence for CSOQualifications:Requires Daily Office Presence (3-5 days a week) in Dallas, Texas.Preferred Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or Cyber Security or equivalent 8 - 10 years related experience, including cybersecurity and/or risk management experience or previous client-service experience in the field.2 years' experience in a role where you implemented vulnerability management strategies within a large-scaleenvironment.Relevant experience ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations related to information security, such as PCI DSS in previous roles?Demonstrate a track record of effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams in security-related projects within a large-scale IT environmentAdvanced proficiency in communicating security-related concepts to non-technical stakeholders within a telecommunications (or similar) business environment?A minimum of 2 years in a leadership/management role where you've regularly communicated complex security concepts and metrics to all levels of an organization, including C-suite?Our Principal-Cybersecurity employees earn between $143,100 - $237,400.
