URUS Group has an opening for a Technical Business Analyst. We are looking for a specialist that understands the opportunity of process optimization and knows how to translate business needs into efficient IT solutions. This person will be a member of our Global IT team and work closely with business staff in our operating companies to document existing processes, identify opportunities for improvements, and design new processes and systems.
The ideal candidate will have a track record of increasing responsibilities throughout their career, and experience applying frameworks to describe and optimize business processes and information flows. A commitment to ongoing personal and professional development is vital.

Responsibilities:
- Assist functional business teams with documentation of business processes and identifying and delivering improvements.
- Involvement in designing integrations of internal operational systems.
- Document process requirements for new systems.
- Work with technical teams including architects, database designers and developers to build and validate solutions.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Technical or University education, with a commitment to continuous self-improvement.
- A proven track record in software development and business analysis.
- Experience leading and working with cross-functional teams, in an Agile environment.
- Strong documentation and communication skills, including presentation and meeting facilitation.
- Project management experience is important, along with a desire to further develop this skill.
- Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles is beneficial, as is Business Intelligence and report development experience.
- Experience in application of AI in business processes would be advantageous.
- Ag-industry experience is an asset.
