Production is primarily focused on Stainless Steels and Specialty Alloys, available in blooms and billets, ingots, round, square, flat, hexagonal and angle bars, wire rod, wire, reinforcement bars and threaded rods, with the expressed goal of satisfying the most sophisticated needs of the customer. To that end, Valbruna is constantly updating its production capabilities and experience.

We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence Analyst to manage and develop comprehensive reporting solutions using SSRS, SSIS, Power BI, and Qlik Sense. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management, data analysis, and business intelligence tools, with a focus on executive reporting and dashboards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain SSRS reports to support business operations and decision-making.
  • Design, implement, and manage ETL processes using SSIS to ensure data integrity and availability.
  • Create and manage interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI and Qlik Sense, with a strong emphasis on executive reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.
  • Perform data analysis and validation to ensure the accuracy and consistency of reports.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot existing reporting solutions to improve performance and reliability.
  • Document and maintain reporting processes, data models, and system configurations.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on reporting tools and solutions.
Skills and Experience
  • Hands-on experience in Qlik Sense development, dashboarding, data modeling, and ad hoc report generation techniques.
  • Proficient in data transformation, QVD file creation, and set analysis.
  • Experienced in designing, architecting, developing, and deploying applications using Qlik Sense, with a focus on front-end development and visualization best practices.
  • Strong database design and SQL skills, with experience in RDMS such as MS SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical insights and interpret data reports for clients.
  • Leadership qualities and thoughtful implementation of Qlik Sense best practices to deliver effective solutions to users.
  • Ability to comprehend and translate complex and advanced functional, technical, and business requirements into executable architectural designs.
  • Experienced in creating and maintaining technical documentation.
  • Skilled in data integration through extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data from various sources.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3 - 5 years' of experience in a related field.
  • Proven experience with SSRS, SSIS, Power BI, and Qlik Sense.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server).
  • Experience in data warehousing, ETL processes, and business intelligence.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Experience with executive reporting and dashboard creation.
  • Experience with other reporting and BI tools.
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
