We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This role is critical in providing leadership and setting the manufacturing standards across our production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, a passion for continuous improvement, and the ability to drive operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:Leadership & Strategy:Lead and mentor the manufacturing engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with company goals and objectives.Serve as the technical expert on manufacturing processes, guiding the team on best practices and standards.Manufacturing Standards:Establish, document, and maintain manufacturing standards and procedures to ensure consistency, quality, and efficiency across all production lines.Work closely with quality assurance teams to integrate quality standards into the manufacturing processes.Monitor and analyze manufacturing performance data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Process Improvement:Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall manufacturing efficiency.Lead cross-functional teams in problem-solving initiatives, utilizing lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.Collaborate with product design and development teams to ensure manufacturability and optimize product designs for production.Technology & Innovation:Evaluate and recommend new technologies, equipment, and tools that could improve manufacturing processes and performance.Stay current with industry trends and advancements in manufacturing technology, integrating relevant innovations into the manufacturing environment.Project Management:Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of manufacturing projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.Coordinate with other departments such as procurement, logistics, and supply chain to ensure seamless project execution.Prepare and present project reports, metrics, and updates to senior management.Compliance & Safety:Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.Promote a safe working environment by leading safety initiatives and ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols.Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with established standards and identify areas for improvement.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.A minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, with a proven track record of leadership and process improvement.In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and standards.Experience with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficient in CAD software and other manufacturing-related tools.Knowledge of relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
