Technician- New Haven, CT Fast-growing biotech startup, seeks a detail-orientedand hands-on Manufacturing Technician to support the production ofcutting-edge microfluidics chips for high-resolution spatial biologyapplications. As one of the first 20 employees, this candidate will play apivotal role in manufacturing our innovative spatial biology platforms,ensuring the delivery of high-quality products to researchers and cliniciansworldwide.This transformative technology integrates microfluidicsand Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) to map tissue cell architecture withcellular resolution, addressing critical challenges in spatial biology anddisease research.Key Responsibilities •Manufacturing and Pipetting: oPerformprecision pipetting, filling, and handling of reagents and solutions formicrofluidic chip production. oOperateand maintain laboratory and manufacturing equipment, ensuring compliance withSOPs. •Reagent Formulation: oPrepareand mix reagents, maintaining accurate records of formulations and batchdetails. oManageinventory of raw materials and consumables for production. •Quality Assurance: oConductquality checks to ensure chips meet rigorous performance standards. oDocumentproduction outcomes and troubleshoot any issues in collaboration with the team. •Process Improvement: oCollaboratewith engineering and R&D teams to refine and optimize production workflows. oSupportthe scale-up of manufacturing operations to meet increasing product demand.QualificationsRequired: •Associate or Bachelor's degree in a relevantfield. •1-2 years of experience in laboratory orproduction environments, particularly in life sciences or biotechnology. •Proficiency in pipetting and reagent handling,with a keen eye for accuracy and consistency.Preferred: •Familiarity with GMP or ISO-certifiedenvironments. •Experience in microfluidics or consumablemanufacturing processes. •Strong organizational and communication skills,with the ability to work effectively in a team setting.About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
