URGENT NEED!We are looking for a manufacturing technician to support reagent manufacturing within the packaging department.Filling bulk reagents into final container bottles and preparing kits of multiple reagents. This includes: obtaining bulk reagents from production; printing bottle/container labels; allocating reagent into containers; assembling containers; capping containers; packaging multiple reagents into a single container and placing finished product into inventory. oPrints labels and applies to bottles and boxes by hand or with machineo Pipetting reagents into bottleso Measuring reagent volumes by graduated cylindero Operates packaging equipment: printer, labeler, electronic/mechanical fillerso Fills non-sterile liquid products in dark room and fume hood work areaso Prepares components, bottles, inserts, and instructionso Assembles Kitso Verifies accuracy and documents batch recordso Works following SOPs and following directions from Managero Keeps inventory status on products oMaintains a clean, orderly and safe laboratory environment following health and safety guidelines oPerforms other duties as assignedAdditional Skills & Qualifications o B.S. in biology, chemistry, or related field preferred, open to no degree with experience o Ability to follow SOP o Familiarity with pipetting o Punctuality and reliable o Ability to lift 25 lbs. unassisted o Ability to work with animal plasma/serum based products o Ability to wear latex gloves and safety glassesAbout Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
