Job Description SummaryWe are seeking a self-motivated Advanced Manufacturing Engineer who is responsible for new repair of Ultrasound Probes for the Repair Operation Center (ROC). In this role you'll own the project management and implementation process for probe repair. Unlock your ambition, turn ideas into world-changing realities, and join an organization where every voice makes a difference, and every difference builds a healthier world.Job DescriptionRoles and ResponsibilitiesCreate, edit, and approve engineering changes, work instructions, and other documentation as required.Experience in setting up new process through validation and qualification, risk assessment through PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis), training of Personnel through SOP (Standard Operating Procedures)Co-ordination of manufacturing releases - Change implementation.A job at this level is an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who can hire and develop talent.Produce tooling and equipment drawings or revise existing drawings from sketches, models, and manual measurement of actual parts with limited instruction using computer aided design software.3D design using Creo with Windchill or equivalent. Create 3D models and 2D engineering drawings of machined and molded parts and assemblies.Use and provide regular maintenance for 3D printers.Driving LEAN manufacturing implementation.QualificationsBachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experienceDesign change and implementation experience.Microsoft Office softwareDesired QualificationsExperience in Six Sigma and CAPA process.Basic understanding of a programing languageGood knowledge of the company's technology, production capabilities, tools and assembly methods.Skilled user of 3D CAD software, preferably Solidworks (and/or Creo)Demonstrated analytical approach to problem solving.Engineering material properties: Basic machining operations (e.g. turning, milling, drilling, etc.) and tools.Leadership skills can be an asset if their work entails overseeing and coordination of technicians.Project Management experienceAbility to generate written communication that is clear and concise and lead a discussion among colleagues as well as provide formal presentations to management.Good at working within budget and meeting deadlines; and have an excellent understanding of health and safety issues and requirements.#LI-Onsite#LI-CH3Additional InformationGE HealthCare offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
