Job Responsibilities

To provide a variety of administrative support and office management duties in support of the President's Office and other areas of the College as directed by the President.

  • Provides administrative support to President, and Cabinet members as directed. Serves as a backup to the President's Executive Assistant.
  • Assists in budget preparation and monitoring. Processes invoices and pay outstanding bills for College accounts.
  • Greets visitors to the receptionist area in Blatt Hall. Answers and directs all phone calls. Answer guests' and employees' questions. Schedule meetings, client visits and company events.
  • Prepares, edits, and proofreads informational materials, correspondence, and other written materials for accuracy in content, grammar, and punctuation. Compiles and maintains records of value of property, equipment and supplies.
  • Provide occasional tours of the office.
  • Stock the College's Supplies Closet. Collects, sorts, and sends all mail and packages.
  • Performs other administrative duties as required to support the mission and function of the unit, College, and vision of the College President.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

High School Diploma. Related clerical experience may be substituted for a High School Diploma.
Preferred Qualifications

Associate Degree, or High School Diploma + 2 years related work experience. Selected positions may require the ability to type at a corrected rate of 35 -55 wpm and/or basic knowledge of computer operations.

Additional Comments

Valid driver's license required. May require after hours and weekend work. Must be able to move up to 25 lbs.
