As a seasonal team member, you will play an essential role in creating memorable experiences for our visitors, whether it's through food and beverage service, event support, or hospitality.
Seasonal Barback
Brickmans at The Links is the main restaurant of the property and serves both The Links and the Lakehouse Hotel. You will be responsible for assisting the bartenders in maintaining the bar area, ensuring that it remains clean, stocked, and organized throughout the shift. You will also assist with service preparation and delivery to ensure guests have a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.
The duties of a Seasonal Barback include, but are not limited to, the following:•Greet guests with a warm welcome and a fond farewell; assist bartenders in ensuring guests receive friendly, courteous, and professional service.
•Ensure the bar is fully stocked with glassware, ice, garnishes, and other necessary supplies to maintain smooth operations.
•Assist in cleaning and maintaining the bar area, including washing glassware, clearing empty bottles, and wiping down surfaces regularly.
•Learn and maintain general knowledge of the beverage menu, including ingredients, and assist bartenders with drink preparation as needed.
•Restock inventory throughout the shift by replenishing bottles, kegs, mixers, and garnishes.
•Help bartenders with setting up the bar before service and breaking it down after service.
•Dispose of trash and empty containers to keep the bar area clean and orderly.
•Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure compliance with company and health department standards.
•Assist bartenders by running food orders to guests seated at the bar when needed.
•Support bartenders by pre-bussing tables and assisting with any guest needs during service.
•Always maintain a professional attitude and work collaboratively with bartenders, servers, and kitchen staff.
•Assist in resolving any guest complaints by notifying the bartender or management for further action.
•Perform other related duties that may be assigned by Management.
Requirements
•Prior experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting preferred.
•Food Handlers Certification
•RBS Certification
•Must be at least 21 years of age.
•Basic math and computer skills.
•Possess an energetic, positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure.
•Able to communicate with individuals from different backgrounds, using strong interpersonal skills.
•Able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time.
•Can perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
•Able to safely lift and easily maneuver heavy items (kegs, cases of beer, etc.).
•Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
•Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
•Be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by business demands.
•Willingly perform other reasonable tasks and duties as assigned by Management.
