The Role
The RSMA Program Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the successful development and execution of the USTA Racquet Sports Management Apprenticeship (RSMA). This position requires an organized and detail-oriented professional who can assist with curriculum development, industry partnerships, faculty coordination, communication, and overall program management. The RSMA Program Coordinator contributes to preparing emerging Racquet Sport Leaders with comprehensive skills and knowledge in the tennis industry.

The expected range for the annual base salary for this position is $40,000 to $50,000. This position is non-exempt. Any additional pay or benefits a person may qualify for, are not included in this range. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.

The Role
The RSMA Program Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the successful development and execution of the USTA Racquet Sports Management Apprenticeship (RSMA). This position requires an organized and detail-oriented professional who can assist with curriculum development, industry partnerships, faculty coordination, communication, and overall program management. The RSMA Program Coordinator contributes to preparing emerging Racquet Sport Leaders with comprehensive skills and knowledge in the tennis industry.
- Faculty Coordination: Support the RSMA Director and Manager in the recruitment and coordination of experienced and knowledgeable faculty members who possess expertise in both tennis and management. Assist with scheduling and logistics to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum, guided discussions, mentorship, and real-world industry experience.
- Practical Experiences Facilitation: Coordinate and facilitate practical experiences, case studies, and project-based learning within the RSMA program. Assist in creating opportunities for participants to apply their knowledge and skills in real-world scenarios, helping them to develop practical competencies necessary for their roles as Racquet Sport Leaders.
- Networking and Professional Development Support: Assist in organizing networking events, conferences, and workshops that facilitate connections between program participants and industry professionals. Support participants' engagement in professional networks, attendance at industry events, and relationship-building to contribute to their career development.
- Work cross functionally with internal National Campus team and external customers to create, manage, and assist in the planning, booking, execution, and support of tennis programs related to RSMA apprentices.
- Ensure on site quality control for internal and external meetings in classroom, multipurpose room etc- manage meeting space set up and breakdown food & beverage orders
- Provide follow-up on meetings, messages, and correspondence for the RSMA.
- Workshops, presentations, and site visits as needed. All travel must be pre-approved by the Director of the RSMA.
- Provide support services including routine correspondence, organization, and minutes for all meetings.
- Assist RSMA leadership with all hires, interviews, and forms.
- Create and administer all contracts that pertain to the RSMA.
- Coordinate all RSMA invoices.
- Interact with National staff, vendors, and partners as well as external constituents to help facilitate the RSMA's objectives.
- Distribute uniforms for all RSMA staff.
- Order miscellaneous supplies for the RSMA.
- This position is considered onsite and specific to National Campus in Orlando, FL.
- Position is considered Non-Exempt.
- Other duties as assigned.
Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and program management
- Strong knowledge of the tennis industry and racquet sports management
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders
- Prior experience in faculty recruitment and management
- Proven ability to identify industry trends and adapt program content accordingly
- Experience in program evaluation and continuous improvement
- Proficient in Google Workspace (G-Suite) and Microsoft Office
- Outstanding written, verbal, research and report communication skills
