We strive to provide the highest quality physical therapy services possible to our patients, and we're looking for a physical therapy assistant to become the newest member of our top-notch team!NEW GRADS WELCOME!Job Type: Full-timeOC Sports & Rehab is looking for a physical therapist assistant (PTA) to assist in the treatment of patients as directed by the physical therapist.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvides treatment to patients as directed by the Physical TherapistExplains the physical therapy procedures and equipment to patients and checks for understandingInstructs patients, families, and caregivers in physical therapy interventions, modalities, and home exercise programsDocuments patient care services by charting in EMR according to guidelines in a timely mannerAssists with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area and practiceImplement patient treatment plans with guidance from Physical TherapistReports all changes to patient's condition to the Physical Therapist as immediacy dictates Requirements Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to maintain confidentiality of patient informationStrong computer skillsKnowledgeable of state practice acts and ensures the level of supervision they receive meets standardsStrong knowledge of medical terminology and physiologyEducation and ExperienceGraduate from a Physical Therapy Assistant programCurrent licensure as Physical Therapy Assistant in California1+ years of experience as a PTA, outpatient experience preferredCurrent CPR CertificationBenefits of Working with OC Sports & RehabMedical, Dental, and Vision PlansHSA with Employer ContributionFSAGenerous PTO Program401k with a 3% MatchEmployee Assistance ProgramLife and AD&D InsuranceShort-Term and Long-Term DisabilityProfit Share available after 1 year of continuous employmentMonday to Friday hours, with no weekends or holidays.8 or 10 hour shifts availableTo find out more visit https://www.ocsportsandrehab.com/physical-therapy-locations/orange-physical-therapy/Salary Description $30.00-$40.00 hourly
