Job DescriptionAssociate Professor, Tenure Track, School of Physical Therapy - DallasTexas Woman's University (TWU) School of Physical Therapy is hiring for a full-time 9-month, tenure-track, faculty position at the rank of Assistant/Associate Professor for our Dallas campus. With programs on the Dallas and Houston campuses, the School of Physical Therapy offers DPT and PhD programs, as well as residency programs in neurology and women's health, and recently completed its DPT re-accreditation. Responsibilities will include: Developing and teaching courses in the professional DPT program Participating in service activities within the School and across the University Maintaining an activity scholarly agenda Advising DPT students Faculty must abide by the TWU Faculty Responsibilities, Standards of Conduct, and Disciplinary Processes (URP 2.330).Qualifications Eligible for licensure as a physical therapist in the State of Texas Earned post-professional doctoral degree (e.g. PhD, DSc, EdD) in physical therapy or a related field Minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed physical therapist. Current member of the American Physical Therapy AssociationPreferred Qualifications: Experience in neurologic or acute physical therapy and therapeutic interventions.
