Join us, and discover why we are #1 in California and nine years in a row on the "Best Hospitals" Honor Roll.Days/Hours: Sunday - Thursday OR Tuesday - Saturday, 9:00 a.m - 5:30 pm.As a full time Physical Therapist in Acute Therapy at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, you will assist in performing evaluations, demonstrate appropriate treatment interventions and strategies & Complete discharge planning for patients.The Physical Therapist in our acute therapy will assist in evaluating and treats patients in accordance with the prescription of the physician. Provides patient care consistent with Scope of Practice Standards and Code of Ethics. Provides care while maintaining safety of the environment, utilizing appropriate communication with sensitivity and attention to special populations, including patients with diverse cultural backgrounds, age, developmental issues and physical disabilities.QualificationsEducation:Minimum: Bachelor's Degree; Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy programPreferred: Master's Degree: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy programPreferred: Doctorate Degree; Completion of formal physical therapy education and training from an accredited institution required for license.Licenses/Certifications:Current physical therapist license issued by the licensing board of CaliforniaBLS by American Heart Association or American Red CrossWhat else are we looking for?1 year experience as a practicing Physical Therapist in an acute setting is preferred.
