Accounting Associate Key Responsibilities

Assist with day-to-day accounting functions, including processing accounts payable.

Experience with labor and expense reports

Help with job costing by tracking project expenses, budgets, and profitability

Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting for ongoing construction projects.

Experience with manning an AP inbox with a high volume of invoices

Code subcontractor invoices for construction

Assisting with check runs

Accounting Associate Qualifications

1-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the construction and engineering industry.

Basic understanding of accounting principles and familiarity with construction accounting practices, including job costing.

Proficiency in accounting software Sage 300 and Microsoft Excel.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
