The Senior Superintendent will oversee Colorado construction of a ground up multifamily high rise of 20+ stories. They are in charge of organizing, planning, and overseeing project tasks in collaboration with the Project Manager. Client Details Our client is a top ENR General Contractor that has been in business for longer than 100 years! They are client focused, and focus on maintaining long term relationships with their partners. Superintendents on their team are highly involved in the construction process from conception through delivery. Description The Senior Superintendent will oversee the following: Collaborate alongside Project Manager, both reporting directly to Project Executive Acts as chief problem solver on all design issues where applicable Approves subcontractor agreements Assists the Project Manager with fiscal responsibilities and submittals. Is responsible for project schedule updates and management Demonstrates strong construction process and knowledge of building codes Is responsible for material delivery schedules and implementing change management Communicates with the Project Manager, other superintendents, subcontractors and field leaders to ensure project status and any changes are known to all involved parties Supports the development of team member competencies and skill sets Is responsible for job set-up, communication, safety compliance, record-keeping, QC and project closeout Participates in preconstruction meetings with subcontractors Chairs weekly subcontractor Foreman meetings Walks the jobsite at least once each day to ensure safety, quality, and job progress Is responsible for adherence to shop drawings and project documents Reviews shop drawings for conformance to contract and field conditions Supports and enforces the requirements for jobsite safety Is responsible for full implementation of company safety, risk management, environmental and stormwater programs Provides constructability reviews for each set of progress drawings Reviews soils reports Conducts pre-award meetings with all major scopes of work Manages permits and inspections Profile A successful Commercial Superintendent should have the following: 10+ years of ground up construction experience Experience managing high-rise projects with >10 floors. Proven ability to lead large scale projects (This project is well over $110M in size) Degree in Construction Management or related industry degree Proficient in CMiC, Bluebeam, MS Office, Primavera 6 OSHA 30 Certification, First Aid Certification, Stormwater Management Cert Open to travel in mountain west for future projects. Job Offer Competitive salary & bonus commensurate with experience -
