Description The Assistant Project Manager will be responsible for: Manage project teams and coordinate trade-specific activities to ensure timely, quality completion. Oversee site safety, quality control, and project documentation for multifamily and healthcare construction projects. Facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Utilize project management software, such as PlanGrid, Procore, and Sage 300 Timberline, to track project progress and manage budgets. Prepare and update project schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation and milestone achievement. Support senior project managers in identifying and mitigating project risks and delays.
Profile The successful candidate has: 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager or in a similar construction management role. Proven expertise in managing ground-up multifamily or healthcare projects valued at $10M+, with a preference for wood-frame construction experience. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage trades and site teams independently. Proficiency in construction software, including Excel, MS Office, PlanGrid, Procore, and Sage 300 Timberline. Demonstrated stability in career history, with no more than three job transitions within the past ten years. A collaborative mindset and eagerness to build strong industry relationships, contributing to the growth and success of the company's local presence.
