My client is seeking a Quality manager to lead the Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions, ensuring that all products and processes meet both internal and external quality standards. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive quality management system, driving continuous improvement efforts, and fostering a culture of excellence.

Description
They key responsibilities of the Quality Manager will be:
Quality Management System (QMS):
Develop, implement, and manage the company's QMS in accordance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, API, etc.). Compliance and Audits:
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and customer requirements. Lead internal and external audits, including certification and surveillance audits. Continuous Improvement:
Drive initiatives aimed at reducing defects, improving process efficiency, and enhancing product reliability through root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions. Supplier Quality Management:
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality standards are maintained, conduct supplier audits, and develop improvement plans as necessary. Team Leadership:
Manage, mentor, and develop the quality team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Customer Focus:
Act as the primary point of contact for customers on quality-related matters, including complaint resolution, corrective actions, and communication of quality metrics. Quality Metrics:
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze data to identify trends, and implement corrective measures where needed. Process Control:
Ensure that all manufacturing processes are in control and aligned with quality standards, utilizing statistical methods and process improvement tools. Risk Management:
Identify risks related to product quality and implement mitigation strategies. Documentation:
Ensure that all quality documentation is properly maintained, updated, and available for internal and external use.
Profile The successful Quality manager will have the following:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a quality management role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Certifications:
ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM) or similar certification preferred. Experience with ISO 9001 or AS9100 quality systems is required. Skills:
Strong leadership and team management skills. In-depth knowledge of quality control and quality assurance principles. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on root cause analysis and corrective action. Familiarity with tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and statistical process control (SPC). Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization. Proficiency in quality-related software and data analysis tools.
