As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with our key retail partners. Your goal is to ensure the strategic growth of our brand, maximize sales opportunities, and exceed customer expectations. You will serve as the primary point of contact for your assigned accounts, leveraging market insights & product knowledge to strengthen partnerships and drive sales. This is a hybrid role based in Orange County, CA.

Description
Account Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts including large retailers and distributor partners. Act as the main point of contact for all client needs, from product inquiries to problem-solving. Sales Strategy:
Work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategic sales plans to grow revenue within your accounts. Ensure alignment with broader company objectives. Product Launches and Promotions:
Manage product launches, seasonal promotions, and merchandising initiatives within key accounts to drive visibility and sales. Coordinate efforts with the marketing team to ensure effective brand positioning. Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
Regularly track and analyze sales performance, customer feedback, and market trends. Provide detailed reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting opportunities and challenges. Customer Training and Support:
Provide ongoing support to clients by educating them on product benefits, features, and nutritional value. Conduct training sessions for retail staff and distributors to enhance product knowledge and sales. Collaboration:
Partner with internal teams including marketing, logistics, and supply chain to ensure smooth order fulfillment and resolve any issues that may arise with clients.
Profile
3+ years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development, preferably within the food or CPG industry. Passionate about better-for-you foods and sustainability. Proven track record of managing large accounts, driving sales growth, and exceeding targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strong analytical abilities with experience in sales forecasting and performance reporting. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently and within a team. Ability to travel within the region as needed.
