Our integrative dental practice in Santa Monica is hiring a part-time Receptionist / Front office Coordinator to join our team.
We offer competitive hourly pay with increases tied to your expanding your skills and knowledge. We offer travel for continuing education. We also offer multiple incentives (bonuses) for continuous growth.
The Practice:
We are a new growing office looking for team members to grow with us. We are a completely digital office and take pride in the level of care that we provide to our patients. We know our employees have many options when it comes to finding a “job” and appreciate their commitment to the practice success daily.
The practice specializes in holistic and functional dentistry. We believe dental health starts with nutrition. The foundation of all care includes nutritional counseling, oral microbiome testing, sleep and airway assessment and digital treatment planning.
Days and hours for this position:
Monday to Thursday: 8:45 to 5:45
Friday: 8:45 to 1

• Teamwork! The Position : We’re looking for an experienced Front Office team member. The pay range we’re offering is very fair and based on experience.

Opportunity for hybrid REMOTE WORK in the future Requirements: Strong understanding of general dental procedures. Great customer service skills. Knows current dental codes. 1 years of experience in the front office. Confident with treatment calculations. Confident with financial arrangements. Basic understanding of dental billing. Understands how to coordinate dual insurance. More importantly someone eager to learn Organized, tech savvy and someone who likes to take initiative experience with practiceweb/open dental Responsibilities: Patient flow management Collecting co-payments before service is rendered Explaining how plan benefits work if the patient has any questions about insurance. Treatment presentation and coordinating financial arrangements. Ensuring that all treatment is accurately posted. Schedule management. Responsibilities: - Serve as the main point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience - Schedule and confirm patient appointments, utilizing phone systems and open dental software - Collect and verify patient insurance information, ensuring accurate billing and claims processing - Assist with administrative support tasks, such as maintaining patient records and updating information - Coordinate treatment plans with dental providers and communicate necessary information to patients - Provide general administrative support to the dental office, including managing paperwork and maintaining office supplies Skills: - Proficiency in using phone systems to handle incoming and outgoing calls - Experience with opendental or similar dental practice management software - Knowledge of dental administrative support procedures and practices - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with patients and colleagues - Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in a similar administrative role within a dental office is preferred #CB
