Comulate
Enterprise Account Executive
Comulate, San Francisco, CA, United States
At Comulate, we're building software that's creating a radically more exciting future for insurance accounting teams. Our platform, which reinvents a decades-old manual accounting process, is the first step in our vision to transform the $7T insurance industry.
Why you should consider joining
- In less than 18 months, we've gone from zero → millions of ARR, representing 95th+ percentile company growth across startups that make it this far
- Strong product market fit revealed in users that describe the product as "the best thing since sliced bread" and "changing my life"
- Our talented small & mighty (<20 person) team is already serving large public and private enterprises, driving 7-figure ROI for companies typically not sold to until Series C/D stage
- We're continuing to take big, ambitious bets but able to do so responsibly with cash-flow positive operations and a committed customer-base signing multi-year contracts, providing the best of both worlds: outsized employee ownership and low company risk
- Massive opportunity to further deploy AI into core workflows we serve today and in the future
We're hiring an Enterprise Account Executive onsite in SF to join our growing sales team. We're looking for candidates who have demonstrated experience managing complex and consultative sales processes from start to finish, and are deeply curious and solutions-oriented.
What you'll do
- Transform into an insurance revenue guru, developing a deep understanding of our ICP's pains, buyer personas, and becoming a solution expert.
- Own the end-to-end sales cycle: identifying, prospecting, & qualifying leads and developing them into high-value opportunities through customer-centric and product-first strategies.
- Build trust with skeptics who may doubt the effectiveness of automation software, even if this means diving into the weeds of accounting workflows and situational nuances.
- Contribute to and aim to lead projects to develop, tune, and improve our sales strategy, process, and tactics.
- Deliver accurate and dependable sales forecasts - and independently maintain sales pipeline with the goal of consistently attaining and exceeding targets.
- Partner closely with our Customer Success team to ensure a smooth handoff for all new customers.
- You have 3+ years of experience serving mid-market and enterprise companies in B2B sales, with experience hitting a quota of $1M+ ARR per year from new customers
- You have a solutions-based approach to selling, and the ability to navigate complex organizational structures, creating champions across teams, and the ability to map product value to customer needs
- You have a proven track record of successfully prospecting, building pipeline, nurturing relationships independently, & closing deals.
- You are naturally curious, deeply interested in becoming a product & industry expert, and trusted advisor.
- You are detail-oriented, have excellent presentation, writing, listening, discovery, & organizational skills
- You have the ability to travel when required
- Experience selling to Finance/Accounting teams or within the insurance industry are not required, but are a strong plus
We're backed by Spark Capital (Natalie Sandman) and founders/executives from Brex, Asana, Plaid, Applied Intuition, Coalition, and more. Our team hails from companies like Airbnb, Google, Slack, and LiveRamp.
We're also fairly low-profile: we don't seek TechCrunch coverage or validation from peers; we instead focus that energy on delivering for customers and building a category-defining company.
We're hiring predominantly in San Francisco , as we believe in-person collaboration is strategically important for a company at our stage - both for velocity and company culture.
