As our inaugural Head of People, you will be instrumental in shaping, nurturing, and developing our dynamic and high-performing team across the entire employee lifecycle. Your strategic vision will drive the development and execution of HR initiatives that align with Cyvl's ambitious growth goals.
Responsibilities
$145,000 - $165,000 a year

About the role

Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition: Lead the recruitment and hiring process, ensuring we attract and hire top talent across all departments.
- Employee Experience: Foster a positive and inclusive company culture that promotes employee engagement, satisfaction and well-being.
- Performance Management: Implement performance evaluation systems and provide ongoing feedback to support employee development and growth.
- Compensation & Benefits: Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits packages.
- Organizational Development: Drive initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness, including team building, leadership development, and succession planning.
- HR Operations: Oversee day-to-day HR functions such as onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and compliance.
- 5+ years of experience in an HR leadership role, preferably in a scaling tech startup environment
- Proven track record of building and scaling high-performing teams
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
