Job Description:
Reporting to the Vice President of Development, the Business Development Director will work closely with United Urology Group (UUG) practices to drive new growth in existing markets by acquiring urology practices. This role will be responsible for helping source potential opportunities, leading the transaction process, and owning the practice relationship to help facilitate growth. As part of the broader valuation process, this individual will be instrumental in the assessment of practices' fit within our organization and the ability for OneOncology to deliver value.
Responsibilities
- Lead new market development initiatives, including onboarding physician practices, forming local partnerships, and acquiring ancillary services to enhance practice offerings.
- Build and maintain relationships with physician leaders nationwide, representing both OneOncology and UUG as a trusted partner.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Strategic Finance, Growth Operations, Operations, and Legal teams to manage transactions from initial contact through integration into UUG practices.
- Conduct market and industry research with internal teams, including competitive analysis, target profiling, and tracking areas of strategic interest.
- Develop, execute, and refine market strategies for new and existing regions, assessing practice, hospital, and payer landscapes, evaluating surrounding growth opportunities, and supporting Operations to ensure smooth implementation.
- Present pipeline updates and growth strategies to senior leadership on a regular basis.
- Identify, evaluate, and secure strategic partnerships with external organizations while supporting additional projects and initiatives as needed.
- Other duties as assigned to help drive our mission of improving the lives of everyone living with cancer.
Qualifications
- Degree(s); Bachelor's Degree; MBA a plus
- Years of experience: 5+ years of healthcare sales and/or M&A experience
- Healthcare physician practice management experience required, urology experience a plus
- Travel: 70-80%
