Musco is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our expanding corporate campus in Oskaloosa, Iowa. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you'll manage the recruiting life cycle in a way that enhances the candidate experience, and ensures a positive and successful hire for Musco. We are looking for someone who has excellent communication and interpersonal skills, is able to multitask and work efficiently under tight deadlines, has strong business acumen to understand employment needs and trends, and is able to thrive in a fun, fast-paced environment. What you'll do as a Talent Acquisition Specialist:
- Facilitate competitive selection processes by consulting with leaders to understand talent needs; prepare interview teams, develop strategic questions, and successfully select and negotiate with high quality candidates.
- Collaborate with managers and Human Resource Business Partners to identify hiring needs and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions used to develop selection criteria.
- Create and implement sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates, using social recruiting, job boards, career fairs, on-campus events and sponsorship opportunities. Build and maintain robust talent pipeline for future hiring needs.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate information and recruitment processes.
- Promote employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
- Stay abreast of industry and business trends related to recruitment, maintain compliance with legal regulations and with organizational goals and policies.
- Assist in gathering and analyzing data for HR metrics related to recruiting.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of related HR experience, specific experience recruiting for Engineering, Construction Management, IT, or other specialized recruiting areas strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to use recruiting tools such as applicant tracking systems, social media, job boards, external sourcing tools.
- Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently under tight deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of AAP and OFCCP requirements, recruitment best practices, and labor laws.
