Multi Site Plant Controller

360 is partnering with a leading manufacturer of electrical components seeking a talented Business Controller - Finance and Accounting. This role involves key financial activities, preparation of financial statements, operational analysis, and working capital management, all for the guidance of management in a manufacturing/production environment. The Plant Controller will partner with the CFO and Plant GMs to ensure the financial health and compliance of the company.
This is a direct hire position with our client. Qualified candidates will have a strong background in financial leadership roles for manufacturing/production sites. Must be comfortable being in a production environment, partnering with leaders to make a positive bottom line impact while supporting the multiple facets of accounting responsibilities including costing, AR/AP, payroll allocation, etc.

Location: Memphis, TN area (also supports a plant in AL)
- Pay: Up to $150,000/yr + Options

- Partner with the CFO to establish financial and operating benchmarks, budgets, project monitoring, and reporting standards on a monthly and annual basis.
- Leads team across multiple sites responsible for traditional Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions, monthly closes, budget/forecast reporting, cost analysis, allocation, etc.
- Variance analysis, standard/activity based, product & inventory costing
- Manage and monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems to ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and enforce internal controls to protect company assets, policies, procedures, and workflows.
- Manage the annual budget process including capital budgeting and quarterly forecast, identifying and explaining variances.
- Establish KPIs based on sound financial management techniques, providing operating management with accurate information proactively.
- Compare performance with operating plans and standards; provide reports and interpret results of operations to all levels of management.
- Support the development and maintenance of cost models to assess and track cost reduction opportunities.
- Prepare analysis around labor productivity, job costing, and WIP balance, ensuring proper costing and margin analysis.
- Responsible for daily cash management and treasury activities, ensuring positive account balances.
- Manage and mentor accounting staff, ensuring the execution of assigned tasks and their professional development.
- Partner with Production and Manufacturing leaders across multiple sites, sharing financial information, assessing profitability, KPI performance
- Review site results, making recommendations to Production and Manufacturing leaders where needed to increase profitability; align and partner on solutions
- Review and analyze financial processes, initiating improvements within the organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Demonstrated ability to simultaneously administer and coordinate multiple ongoing projects, ensuring effective implementation within targeted timelines and costs.
- Proficient in Excel, including modeling complex business scenarios, budgets, and financial calculations.
- Strong ownership of GL balances, detailed reconciliations, and controls.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business from an accredited college or university.
- Minimum 7-10 years of finance experience in a manufacturing/production environment
