Physician / New York / Permanent / Endocrinologist Job

A health services network in New York City is looking to add a licensedEndocrinologist to join their growing facility in the Bronx.

About the Opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm
• Setting: Clinic
• Patient Population: Outpatient (60%) and Inpatient (40%)

Responsibilities:

The Endocrinologist will:

• Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations of patients
• Listen to and evaluate patient symptoms related to hormonal imbalances
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood tests, imaging studies, and hormone level assessments
• Develop individualized treatment plans for patients with endocrine disorders
• Diagnose and manage thyroid and adrenal disorders
• Evaluate and treat disorders related to the pituitary gland and hypothalamus
• Address hormonal issues related to reproductive health
• Educate patients about their endocrine conditions, treatment options, and the importance of adherence to prescribed medications
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Licensed to practice in the State of New York
• Board Eligible in Endocrinology

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of General Endocrinology and Diabetes
