This is a remote opportunity, open to anyone in the US
The Media Planner is the daily focal point to the account and will report to a Senior Associate or Manager. You will steward the tactical communications planning process and provide mid-level recommendations to the senior media team and client. You are expected to maintain daily responsibility for assigned accounts and are expected to understand the client's overall business and marketing goals.
Communications Planning:
• Aid in the creation of client media communication plan goals
• Create and maintain media plans, flowcharts, buying guidelines, testing plans and results analysis, budget summaries, plan delivery and reports
• Contribute to all communication opportunities relevant to assigned brand/category
• Write POVs and evaluate new media types and outlets
• Support Communications Planning Supervisor in the collection and evaluation of syndicated consumer and media usage information
• Compile reports of competitive market and media information for each brand or category
• Support ACPD/CPS as a facilitating contact point for client's internal media staff and the primary contact point to client's brand staff when media issues are discussed
• May oversee the work of Assistant Communication Planners, ensuring that all deliverables are error free before they are submitted to Supervisors/clients
Client & Internal Relationships:
• Manage daily client interaction, expectations, and deliverables
• Assist Supervisor in advising clients on the best ways to integrate media into their advertising and marketing programs
• Assist Supervisor in growing business opportunities within current clients
• May inform client and team of new opportunities or issues
• Participate and lead, if appropriate, face-to-face client and vendor meetings
• Build relationships with internal and external teams
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree
• 0+ years of experience and familiarity with the media process
• 0-2 years of experience with analytical and online research tools such as Nielsen, @Plan, AdRelevance, etc.
• Interest and familiarity with Media planning
Additional information
The anticipated salary range for this position is $39,000 - $62,962. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including relevant experience, knowledge, skills and other factors permitted by law.
