Overview
Logistics Managers serve as a liaison between the broker, client, carrier, shipper, and receiver. They are responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with all parties to provide excellent customer service.

Logistics Managers serve as a liaison between the broker, client, carrier, shipper, and receiver. They are responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with all parties to provide excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Quickly provide rate quotes to customers (TL, LTL, Volume, Spot)
- Work directly with customers on quotes and negotiate pricing for services
- Receive and process shipments according to customer needs, shipment entry, tracking and follow up
- Manage daily load activities through discussion with customers and carriers to ensure excellent customer service
- Contact assigned existing and potential customers to develop customer and carrier relations
- Research provider performance problems and provide feedback that facilitates resolution
- Proactively manage freight on behalf of customers
- Address inquiries and troubleshoot issues for customers
- Understand all aspects of LTL freight (Class and density, Accessorials, Freight characteristics, Rating and auditing, scheduling, etc.)
- 2-3 years brokerage/logistics experience preferred
- Knowledge of international shipping is a plus
- Strong teamwork, initiative, and customer service skills
- Strong working knowledge of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and other technology related to the brokerage industry
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to efficiently manage time in a fast-paced environment and quickly change priorities
- Strong ability to multi-task efficiently within multiple software programs
- Self-Motivated
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Demonstrate knowledge of the LTL industry and aspects of LTL freight and shipping
- 18 years of age
- Fluent in English
- Able to pass a drug screen
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
