We need people who are experienced in the HVAC industry already. Skills should include the following:
- Customer Focused - we are passionate about serving all of our customers, including dealers, business owners and large HVACR (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration) companies and consolidators. We do this by estimating, selling and helping manage commercial HVAC projects with an understanding of construction projects.
- Proficient in HVAC Product and the HVAC industry - Understanding HVAC commercial systems is a MUST - including (but not limited to) the following: Rooftop Units, curb adapters, ductless split systems, Magic Pak, ERV and HRV systems, Commercial controls and air zoning applications.
- Excited to Sell - You learn and continually improve on sales skills and product knowledge to maintain competitive advantage in very high paced and competitive environment - this means understanding and growing your product knowledge - especially around Allied, Mitsubishi, Reznor, Superior Radiant, Amana, April Aire and more.
- Have Attention to Detail - Provide customer service expertise with estimating and proposal skills, as well as quoting in computer software, understanding job cost tracking, etc.
- Like a great work schedule - We are consistently a M - F schedule, holidays and weekends off*
- Team Spirit - Above all, we operate in a team environment and therefore holding a true team spirit of cooperation and problem solving is a must. We coordinate our sales efforts with our warehouse, counter sales, and inside sales teams.
- Sense of Urgency - our customers come first, both internal and external. That's part of the team spirit, to operate and react quickly. We are proactive and self-motivated to manage tight deadlines while handling multiple projects at one time.
- We learn & understand the entire business - part of our training program involves learning and understanding from the beginning how our business operates - you may spend time initially learning the warehouse, counter, systems knowledge and inside sales roles so you have a solid foundation in your role.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Project estimating required for commercial systems, 2 years minimum
- Minimum 2 years of HVACR commercial field experience, and/or degree/certification in HVACR preferred.
- Combination of education and related experience will also be considered.
- Good command of Microsoft Office applications.
- Enthusiastic, energetic, creative, customer-focused professional. Thrives in a fast-paced environment and provides accuracy and timeliness.
- *Individual must be flexible with changes in work schedule, willing to work overtime and be on-call occasionally on weekends (this is an additional pay opportunity).
