The New Business Development Manager manages a team of research and development professionals, overseeing research and development projects and studies in order to investigate relationships, solve technical problems, and develop new solutions for a specific application or within a specific branch of science. Independently evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering/scientific techniques, processes, and criteria.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identification and initiation of growth projects in thermal management fluids for Data Center and battery cooling
  • Market observation, technology ranking as well as identification of future trends and technology developments
  • Management of product (fluid) development projects with customers and external partners
  • Serve as project manager (mainly commercial responsibility) for product and application development projects for thermal management. Together with technical lead to generate timely business success.
  • Become the regional expert in the application of our products for Thermal products at customers/OEMs
  • Work directly with Regional Customer Relations/ GKA team to train on the use of our products and roll out thermal strategies
  • Active participation in the review and sharpening process regarding the strategy for Thermal management program.
  • Proactive collect market information, technology development and future trends to continuously identify business potentials
  • Management of project portfolio and stakeholder management in the regions Americas
  • Participation and presentation of latest results at conferences and trade fairs
  • Identifizierung und Initiierung von Wachstumsprojekten im Bereich Wärmemanagementflüssigkeiten für Rechenzentren und Batteriekühlung
  • Marktbeobachtung, Technologieranking sowie Identifizierung zukünftiger Trends und Technologieentwicklungen
  • Management von Produkt-(Fluid-)Entwicklungsprojekten mit Kunden und externen Partnern
  • Fungieren als Projektmanager (hauptsächlich kommerzielle Verantwortung) für Produkt- und Anwendungsentwicklungsprojekte für Wärmemanagement. Gemeinsam mit der technischen Leitung zeitnahen Geschäftserfolg erzielen.
  • Werden Sie zum regionalen Experten für die Anwendung unserer Produkte für Wärmeprodukte bei Kunden/OEMs
  • Arbeiten Sie direkt mit dem regionalen Kundenbeziehungs-/GKA-Team zusammen, um die Verwendung unserer Produkte zu schulen und Wärmestrategien einzuführen
  • Aktive Teilnahme am Überprüfungs- und Schärfungsprozess in Bezug auf die Strategie für das Wärmemanagementprogramm.
  • Proaktives Sammeln von Marktinformationen, Technologieentwicklungen und zukünftigen Trends, um kontinuierlich Geschäftspotenziale zu identifizieren
  • Management des Projektportfolios und Stakeholdermanagements in den Regionen Amerika
  • Teilnahme und Präsentation der neuesten Ergebnisse auf Konferenzen und Messen

REQUIREMENTS
  • Successfully completed master's degree required, PhD preferred in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related fields
  • Experience in New Business Development, Product development & project management
  • Experience in the relevant industry highly beneficial.
  • Highly motivated individual with passion to drive new business development
  • Strong in communication internally and externally
  • Excellent team player with the ability to work in and with interdisciplinary, international teams
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills, German and/or other language skills are an advantage
  • Willingnes to travel
  • Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Masterstudium erforderlich, bevorzugt Promotion in Chemie, Chemieingenieurwesen oder verwandten Bereichen
  • Erfahrung in Neugeschäftsentwicklung, Produktentwicklung und Projektmanagement
  • Erfahrung in der relevanten Branche von großem Vorteil.
  • Hochmotivierte Person mit Leidenschaft für die Entwicklung neuer Geschäftsfelder
  • Starke Kommunikation intern und extern
  • Hervorragender Teamplayer mit der Fähigkeit, in und mit interdisziplinären, internationalen Teams zu arbeiten
  • Hervorragende mündliche und schriftliche Englischkenntnisse, Deutsch- und/oder andere Sprachkenntnisse von Vorteil
  • Reisebereitschaft
