Portland, OR Full-time $150,000.00 - $175,000.00Posted 11/14/2024Senior Electrical Project ManagerPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Manager to oversee complex electrical construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior team members while managing multiple projects in the data center and industrial construction sectors.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage electrical construction projects from initiation to completion.Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring all financial targets are met.Create detailed project schedules and monitor progress against milestones.Coordinate with various stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies.Conduct regular quality control and quality assurance checks throughout the project lifecycle.Estimate smaller project costs and prepare bidding documents.Mentor junior staff and provide training on electrical systems and project management best practices.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.Oversee the implementation of power distribution and backup power systems.Qualifications5+ years of experience in electrical project management, preferably in data centers and industrial construction.Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and backup power systems.Proven experience in budgeting, estimating, and scheduling for complex projects.Excellent leadership and mentoring skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Experience with quality control and quality assurance processes.Professional certifications such as Master Electrician, Licensed Electrician, or Journeyman Electrician are highly desirable.Ability to travel to project sites around the Greater Portland Area.Benefits- $150,000 - $175,000 base salary depending on experience- Vehicle Allowance- Bonus- Generous 401K with Match- Vacation/PTO- Medical- Dental- Vision- Life Insurance For this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
