We are looking for:

The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler plans and schedules all non-emergency maintenance work including day-to-day activities, one-day outages, and major shut downs. Additionally, the Maintenance Planner/Scheduler manages transactions for maintenance activities within the computerized maintenance management system, CMMS (SAP). The planning function focuses on fully defining the scope of each work order, procuring and staging all necessary parts, and evaluating each job to assure it can be executed in a safe manner. The scheduling function focuses on prioritizing planned work and coordinating execution needs with production. The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler performs all activities with the goal of making the maintenance department the example of workplace excellence at the plant.

We count on you for:

Plan all maintenance work orders including:

  • Walk down jobs and develop scope of work
  • Evaluate jobs to assure they can be executed in a safe manner
  • Develop bill of materials for job scopes
  • Secure necessary parts to execute jobs
  • Schedule parts for jobs
  • Estimate manpower needs
  • Define and schedule outside service contractor needs for jobs
  • Provide all necessary manuals, drawings, or other information to execute jobs
Schedule all planned maintenance work including:
  • Define priorities for jobs with Production Supervisor
  • Document jobs on maintenance schedule
  • Accurately maintain the schedule
Other responsibilities include:
  • Manage maintenance department activities and costs through transactions within the CMMS (SAP)
  • Work with Purchasing Dept to properly maintain Vendor framework agreements.
  • Provide technical input on capital projects and / or equipment specifications
  • Maintain high standards for documentation accuracy (equipment list, P&ID's, loop sheets, wiring diagrams, etc.)
  • Work with the Storeroom Coordinator to evaluate store room inventory needs (stock materials including minimum and maximum stocking levels)
  • Work with project engineers to effectively leverage maintenance resources in the execution of capital projects
  • Assist, as needed, the Maintenance Coordinator in the execution of emergency work
  • Fully participate in plant HSE initiatives
  • Responsible to maintain a quality management system that meets the requirements of ISO 9001

You will bring:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience working in maintenance, mechanical or electrical, within an industrial environment
  • Working knowledge of chemical plant equipment (pumps, piping, heat exchangers, vessels, instrumentation, etc.)
  • Previous experience working as a maintenance planner/scheduler is preferred, but not required.
  • Strong communication and computer skills.
  • Experience with MS Office, Google Suite, and SAP

  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $75,760 to $94,700 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.

Work hours are: 1st shift: 7:00 am-3:30 pm, Monday-Friday
