Responsibilities:

• Diagnose communication disorders in speech, language, and fluency; create individualized IEPs for students.
• Provide therapy, monitor progress, and adjust as necessary to meet goals.
• Work with educators, parents, and staff to improve students communication skills.
• Conduct screenings, maintain thorough records, and participate in planning meetings.
• Be a student advocate, train staff, and always be learning with ongoing professional development.

Qualifications:

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorder, or related field
• Alabama Teaching Certification required
• AlabamaSLP license required
• ASHA CCC-SLP Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with students with communication disorders
• Experience providing virtual therapy services is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Fast/reliable computer & internet connection
  • No Chromebooks/tablets permitted
